Home Study on Vocabulary Development

Recruiting children aged 18-24 months for a 6 week study completed entirely at home. This is the second phase of an experiment studying the use of educational videos in assisting with word learning.

We will supply parents with an instructional booklet to guide their child through the study. Child participation will take approximately 15 minutes a day for three weeks, and parents will be asked to complete a brief weekly vocabulary index once a week for six weeks.

All of the materials designed to assist with vocabulary development will be presented on DVDs that we supply. The instructional booklet and vocabulary index can be accessed electronically or by hard copy.

In-Lab Studies

We are also currently recruiting a range of ages under 10 to participate in in-lab studies including : 9 month olds and 2-3 1/2 year olds. If you are interested in having your child participate in a learning study, please contact the lab to schedule an appointment.
